The Volvo Intercooler | Where to purchase | ||
Many people agree the location of the stock
intercooler is ridculous. Volvos have been turbocharging their 4-cyl engines for years and
have a great intercooler. These intercoolers can be retro-fitted to the SVO Mustang with
some ingenuity. |

Several people have show an interest in the Volvo
intercooler which can be purchased used from a salvage yard for around $150.00 (or less)
instead of the Spearco unit which retails at $1000.00 complete. Obviously the Volvo unit
will need to be mounted in front of the radiator and additional brackets and tubing will
need to be fabricated, but for less than $500.00 you can have a sweet setup. |
